Hello litter champions!
Our first big event takes place on Saturday April 2nd next and we plan to clean up Ballyannan Wood as well as some areas around town. It will depend on how many people turn up on the day, but priority will be given to Ballyannan Wood.
We are meeting at 9.30am in the Supervalu car park, but anyone who wants to help with cleaning the wood is welcome to meet at 10am at the Y junction before you get to the wood itself. Please note there is limited car parking there and it may be a good idea to park at the sewerage treatment plant further back underneath the N25.
There is a huge job ahead of us there so please come and help us if you can, children are also welcome of course.
We will have litter pickers, bags, gloves and vests available.
We aim to finish probably around 2 or 3pm depending on how many can help.
