Cork Chamber in association with the Cork Area Strategic Plan (CASP) partners is hosting a half day workshop bringing together the diversity of suppliers, customers, researchers and businesses involved in all aspects of energy in the region. The workshop aims to increase awareness amongst those concerned with energy matters in the region and offers an opportunity for those involved to work together to realise the economic potential associated with the energy sector in Cork.
· Key actors will emerge from the workshop to form a working group(s) to explore the 'Energy@Cork' concept further. An 'Energy@Cork' group has the potential to: · Promote and build an identity for the energy sector in Cork;
· Allow interaction and networking between those across the sector;
· Develop coordinated actions to strengthen business and employment within the sector.
