National Bioenergy Conference 2011

'Wakening the Sleeping Giant'

The Teagasc National Bioenergy Conference 2011 in association with Department of Agriculture & Marine and SEAI will take place in the Tullamore Court Hotel, Tullamore, Co. Offaly on Wednesday April 20th.
The conference will present the salient features of Ireland's bioenergy policy direction with a brand new government cabinet.  It also aims to present some thoughts on potential policy directions to waken the sleeping giant - bioenergy.

·        Renewable Energy Feed in Tariffs (REFIT)
·        Heat market policy
·        Liquid biofuels
·        Anaerobic Digestion (AD biogas)
·        Harvesting energy crops

After the main talks a full panel discussion on bioenergy moderated by RTE's Damien O'Reilly will take place with an expert panel and audience interaction.
