9.45 Session 1: Fishing and aquaculture: Planning, decision making and law enforcement

·         Who decides what to fish where when and how? An overview from EU to local level Dr Paul Connelly – Incoming Chair of ICES and senior scientist Marine Institute

1.45 Session 3: Coastwatch survey results overview
·         From hinterland use, over wetland infill, litter, threats, to biodiversity and shore use. New GIS mapping format and volunteer photos of fine places, black spots and recurring issues. Karin Dubsky Conor Pyle, Coastwatch coord. Team

2.30 Session 4 Issued raised during the Coastwatch survey and implications for the coastal zone, First set of examples – NW Irish Sea coast. Focus on Values, Uses and Sensitivities over time.
