CELT Summer in the Woods Traditional Skills training - 2nd / 3rd July
Intermediate level : Wood Carving, Wet Felting, Greenwood Crafts, Spinning & Weaving, Nuno Felting.
Beginners : Family Bushcraft (basic outdoor skills for parent and child working together).
PLANT MAGIC - Gardening courses with Kes Clarke at Caher Rice, Caher, Feakle, Co.Clare.
Cost : 40 euro per day (LEADER subsidised)
Saturday 11th June 10am- 4pm- Root Day
Plant out leeks and other members of onion family; Earth up main crop potatoes; Working with root crops, weeding, thinning, etc
Saturday 9th July 10am- 4pm- Flower Day - Seasonal activities including weeding, feeding, harvesting, mulching
Saturday 29th July 10am-4pm - Compost heap making and preparation of natural fertilizers including setting up a worm composting system
Saturday 27th August- Leaf day-10am-4pm + Sunday 28th August- Fruit day-10am-4pm
Weekend of garden celebration to include harvesting, preserves, cooking on campfire, salads, herbal preparations and other seasonal activities

NATURAL BUILDING - 11th / 12th June and 25th / 26th June - intermediate level with Saul Mosbacher at Feakle, Co.Clare.
Cost : 80 euro per weekend (LEADER subsidised)
Includes dry-stone construction, cob and cordwood, wattle and daub, basic timber-frame.
BOAT BUILDING - 5 weekends at Bealkelly Wood, Tuamgraney, Co.Clare. 14 / 15 May; 21 / 22 May; 28 / 29 May; 4 / 5 June; 11 / 12 June.
Cost : 60 euro per weekend (LEADER subsidised). Basic carpentry skills required.
All participants are required to hold annual membership of CELT (15 euro / 25 euro family).
Bring own food - some food and refreshments available on site and cooking fire.
Free camping at Bealkelly Wood for 2 / 3 July (arrive Friday 1st if you wish).
