HAVE YOU EVER HEARD THE SOUND OF THE DEER RUTTING?
On the weekend of 17th18th October the Cork Branch of the Irish Wildlife Trust will visit Killarney National Park to see and listen to the red deer rutting. This is an opportunity to join in with the Parks educational programme to learn more about the red deer and park management.
Programme of events:
17th October talk at 8pm followed by a walk in the park to see
and hear any rutting activity
18th Early morning Guided walk to experience the parks lowland red deer herd rutting.
Bring waterproof walking shoes or boots, warm clothing and a torch for Saturday evening.
Cost of the walks and talks is €40 per person Concessions €35. (Accommodation can be organised in a hostel and for one night is 15 Euros extra.)
We will where possible share lifts from Cork to Killarney. Drivers will organise their own petrol charges with lift sharers.

If cancelled by the attendee a week before the event there is a cancellation charge by Killarney National Park Education Centre of 10% after that, payment is non-refundable.
