FREE ENERGY SURVEY
HALO is the Home Energy Efficiency Programme from ESB Energy Services. As part of ESB's contribution to the National Energy Efficiency Action Plan this programme offers the homeowner an independent FREE home energy survey which assesses attic & exterior wall insulation, boilers & heating controls, windows, draught proofing & lighting.
Upon application, our call centre will arrange for a qualified surveyor to conduct a detailed energy survey at an agreed time with the applicant.
The survey includes an assessment & recommendations concerning the above list of measures, a list of one-stop-shop contractors, details of applicable SEI grants, and a list of financial institutions offering lending packages at preferred rates. This will enable homeowners to make their homes more comfortable, more energy efficient and will result in savings on fuel bills!
Areas initially targeted for leaflet drops in Cork City are: Bishopstown, Sunday's Well, North Central, Ballyvolane, Ballinlough, Blackrock, South Douglas Rd., Ballyphehane & Glasheen, with the rest of the city & county to follow at a later date. Our aim is to reduce CO2 emissions nationally, boost local economies by encouraging remedial building works, help homeowners to reduce their fuel bills and improve the housing stock. We would appreciate your contribution in encouraging homeowners to take up the scheme.
