Community Development Training Course - Bantry
This 8 week course will cover topics such as Governance & Legislation, Fundraising, Roles & Responsibilities of Officers, Project Planning & Event Management, Community Leadership etc. More information is available at http://www.wcdp.ie/?p=1153
 
Social Media & Collaboration Seminar - Clonakilty
This is a free 1/2 Day Seminar to enable Community Groups to take advantage of Social Media, and how groups can access technology through the Microsoft Donations Programme. More information available at http://www.wcdp.ie/?p=2216.  
 
Involving Volunteers in your Non-Profit Organisation
This 90 minute free course is aimed at non-profit organisations that are setting out on the path of engaging volunteers in their organisation or non-profit organisations that do not have systems in place to manage their volunteers successfully. Cork Sports Partnership - Go For Life & Buntús Start Programmes
The Go For Life Programme allocate money each year to local groups all over the country, who are seeking to provide increased opportunities for older people to participate in sport and physical activity. Further information on the programme is available at http://www.wcdp.ie/?p=2177
The Buntús Start  Programme offers training and resources that are a combination adult initiated and child-led activities. For more information please visit http://www.wcdp.ie/?p=2177. 
 
Music Capital Scheme
The Music Capital Scheme, which is operated by the Music Network have 2 funding streams available Stream 1: instrument banks for non-professional performing groups (total fund available c. €200,000) and Stream 2: funding for the purchase of individual instruments by musicians of a professional performing standard working in any genre of music (total fund available c. €100,000). Better Together 2011 Campaign
Do you want to raise your organisation's profile, and have the opportunity of winning €14,000? If so, you should start to prepare a video clip of your Community. More information is available at www.bettertogether.ie. This campaign will be officially launched on the 19th September.
