Green Works announces 50 free courses for jobseekers across Ireland


Green Works, the free education programme for jobseekers, has announced dates for more than 50 new courses taking place across Ireland in 2011. The courses, which focus on opportunities within the emergent Green Economy, will take place in the Green Works Hubs in Dublin, Cork, Sligo and Tipperary between January and June of this year.

About Green Works

Green Works began taking students in November 2010 and is a collaborative project of Cultivate, Nicer Training, Syspro;Systems for Progress Limited and Woodrow Sustainable Solutions. It is nationwide education programme which includes hubs is Dublin, Cork, Sligo and Tipperary.

 

Green Works is funded by the Department of Education and Skills through the Labour Market Activation Fund with support from The European Social Fund. All courses and workshops are free to anyone receiving unemployment payments.
