Sustainable Midleton and Grow It Yourself are hosting an Open Night at their small food garden in the Coolbawn car park, Broderick St., Midleton on Thursday 15th July 6 - 7.30pm.
There will be tours of the gardens and people on hand to explain how the raised beds were made, and to show how to sow a seed, tend a tomato and plant a fruit tree. Also, there will be tastings of fresh, in season, home grown food.
All are welcome to some and see the demonstration small herb, vegetable and soft fruit plots. Enquiries 021 4652 424.
