All Ireland Daubenton Bat Survey - training event

Sonairte,  in conjunction with Bat Conservation Ireland, is hosting a free training evening for the All Ireland Duabenton's Bat Waterway Survey on Monday 12th of July, at 8.30pm. We are seeking volunteers in Louth and Meath in particular, to become part of the all Ireland Daubenton Bat survey team. The training evening will involve an indoor lecture followed by a practical session using bat detectors on a local river. The All Ireland Daubenton's Bat Waterway Survey is funded by the NPWS, Department of Environment, Heritage and Local Government.
