Wood of life Exhibition

Dear All,

I would like to invite you to visit the Wood of Life Exhibition at Douglas Library running until  Fri. 19th March.  I am volunteering in giving educational talks to the public, community groups, primary and secondary schools. It is linked in with subjects in the primary, junior and senior cycle of education.  The exhibition is on the awareness of importing exotic woods and the uses in this country.

The NGO that set up the exhibition is Just Forests www.justforests.org. It is worth while visiting for a few minutes as it is easy to ready, professional and colourful.  You can look at a number of exotic woods i.e. teak, mahogony etc.

Library opening hours tues 10 am -5.30pm,  Wed closed St. Patricks Day, Thurs and Fri 10am -8pm.

I hope you get the opportunity to visit this exhibition. It will be at Dublin Zoo for the month of April or check the schedule sheet on webpage.

Yours faithfully,

Niamh O'Flynn
