I would like to invite you to An Environmental Awareness Open Day at
National Learnern Network, Donemark, Bantry (opp.Golf Club on Glengarriff Rd.)
on Thursday Oct. 20th 2011 from 10am - 1pm.
Feidhlim Harty FH Wetlands Ennis Co Clare will speak about alternatives to septic tanks and water harvesting.
Tomas Riedmuller The Hollies Enniskean will speak about composting.
The horticulture students will lead tours of our water harvesting system and composting system.
Lunch made from our own organic vegetables will be served. Fee €5
Please tell anyone else who might be interested in attending.
We are very aware that the introduction of water meters and inspection of septic tanks makes these topics very relevant at the present time.
