McCarthy Keville O'Sullivan Ltd. is seeking a suitably qualified ecologist to complete bat detection surveys on behalf of the company on a contract basis during 2011.
Due to additional workload requirements, a number of bat survey projects will be required to be completed by the successful candidate, at locations throughout Ireland in August and September.
The succesful candidate must have previous experience in bat detection field surveys, have their own vehicle and valid drivers licence. They must be available to commence surveying immediately and must have the ability to work independently at field locations and in the production of reports of survey findings. Applicants will hold a degree level qualification in Ecology, Zoology or other related subject or have adequate professional experience in the field and should have prior experience in conducting bat surveys and applying for and obtaining licences pertaining to bat work.
