The 4 local authorities are Dublin City, Cork City, South Tipperary and Donegal and it is running only in these areas for a 6 month trial period.
This is a widening of the existing Illegal Dumping Line (which currently is running in all 34 local authority areas) to handle all environmental complaints (it shares the same phone number). The launch consisted of the following:
- Press Release issued to local newspapers in the 4 regions (sample included for info)
- Newspaper article run in Munster Advertisor
- Placing newspaper ads (sample attached) in local newspapers in the 4 participating regions
- Short Radio ad placed with local radio in the 4 participating regions
- Local radio interviews carried out as requested by media
