Hi the next event is on the June 27th. Meeting at 12 at Oysterhaven. A day on the beach. Introduction to coastal Lichens. Ever wondered what a lichen is? Well here's your chance to learn and find out more about the life on a seashore. The event is led by Paul Whelan (www.ecology.ie). Bring a picnic and non slip shoes.
For those who are interested there is also a gentle stroll afterwards to look at lower shore sealife led by Gill Weyman.
Weather permitting there will also be a chance to have a picnic on the beach.
Please bring non slip shoes and clothing to suit the weather.
