Cork Harbour Open Day - September 4th

As you may be aware – a key message to emerge during the development of a Strategy for Cork Harbour was the need to develop a greater appreciation of the value of the Harbour and to further promote its use.

 

After the publication of the Integrated Management Strategy for Cork Harbour, a sub-group of individuals was formed to organise an event that would contribute to raising awareness of Cork Harbour and showcase the range of uses and activities on offer within the harbour. Thanks to the cooperation of numerous individuals and organisations from around the harbour, the first Harbour Open Day took place in September last year. Following the success of last year's event, the Open Day for 2010 has been organised to take place on September 4th.
