Sundays Well Boys National School on Blarney Road will be holding a launch of their Cycle Parking which they received as part of the SMILES Project in conjunction with Cork City Council. As part of the project, students undertook cycle training and have been encouraging sustainable means of travelling to school, holding regular WOW (Walk on Wednesdays) and COW (Cycle Once a Week) Days. The school will open its doors to the public from 11am to 2pm on Monday to display their art work, explain what they did to promote cycling in the school, and will also show off their bicycle part wind chimes, which they made from old abandoned bikes.
