Cork Community Bikes Workshop
We have had enough interest in a bike maintenance course over the past few weeks to start a course. I would suggest an evening course over three weeks. This will cover the basics of bicycle maintenance. If people want to learn more we can extend it for another two weeks.
The course will cover:
- Basic safety check / Maintenance- oil & clean
- Tube repair / tyre replacement / wheel alignment
- Brakes : systems and adjustments
- Gears : systems and adjustments
The learning outcomes would be that you should be able to maintain your bicycle in safe working order and be able to make basic adjustments to you bicycle yourself. You should also be able to identify when your bike needs a service.
Cost: €30 for the three sessions.
Time: 7:30pm - 9:00pm

would suit and I will see if we can find an evening to suit everybody.
