Woodland Life under the Microscope - Sat 29 Oct

Dr Fran Giaquinto presents 'Woodland Life under the Microscope' on Saturday 29 Oct at Tuamgraney Woodland Wildlife Park (near Scariff, Co.Clare) - meet 9.45am opposite Tuamgraney Heritage Centre.  Bring wellies, waterproofs, clean plastic containers.  We will collect samples of microscopic plant and animal life from the woodland then go to East Clare Community Coop premises in Scariff to look at them under high-power microscope with projector screen.  After lunch (arrange your own - good snacks available in Coop Cafe) we will do more study and identification and also look at things in Scariff Community Garden.  Promises to be an interesting day - cost just 40 euro (concessions available) - subsidised by EU LEADER rural development programme.  More info on website.
