Hi folks,
Yes it is early to be talking about Christmas - but big business is always ahead of the game - this year it's time for all of us to get prepared and make the most of it.
I am planning an event at the end of September that will be both a bit of craic and a very snappy presentation event where people can share their ideas and plans for Christmas. As such it will be the first ever 'Pecha-Kucha 20x20' event in Cork!
I'm looking for a mix of people who would like to share their plans or ideas for arts/cultural, business or fundraising in Cork this winter. With 15-20 presenters in total, each will have just 6 minutes and 40 seconds to present their idea - 20 slides for 20 seconds each! (see Pecha-Kucha 20x20 to get the idea).
It'll take place on Wednesday 29th 8-10pm in the Crane Lane - if you are interested in making a presentation I'd love to hear from you. If you're worried your idea won't fit in - please don't, it will!
Future Pecha-Kuchas will not be themed at all, it will be anything goes so please get in touch if you just like the idea and would like to be involved in the future.
