Build your own mobile Chicken Coop

This course will give you the basic design and construction skills to
make a mobile chicken coop, also known as a "chicken tractor" using
simple materials and techniques.
The Chicken Tractor can be used for keeping grass down and fertilising
as well as in orchards and gardens. Bring: wellies, measuring tape.
Growing Food in a Polytunnel
A 1/2 day course with Selvi Iyilikci and John Conway.

Growing food indoors in a green house or polytunnel brings an exciting
addition to your garden. You can enjoy vegetables throughout the year: a
variety of tender crops in summertime, delicious greens, herbs and
lettuces in wintertime.
. We will look at how to put up a polytunnel,different ways of
'protected' cropping,seed propagation and successional sowing which
enables you to continuously harvest and abundance of vegetables
throughout the year.
Selvi and John have been building up a successful market garden over the
past few years, are selling on farmers markets and are running a veggie
box scheme.
Allotment Gardening

This one day course will equip you with how to get the most from your
allotment. We will cover topics such as soil fertility, pest and disease
management, growing throughout the seasons, vegetable families and
rotations and maximizing your growing space. Management techniques and
time saving methods to increase efficiency will be dealt with. This
course is for beginners and experienced gardeners alike.
