To celebrate the end of the rain Westcork Birdwatch will be having an extra outing in December which is in addition to those published in Wings magazine.

Location The Gearagh.
This is an extensive area of lowland wetland near Macroom. At the moment it is the home to thousands of wildfowl.
Meet at the main entrance to the Gearagh about 3/4 mile from Macroom on the road to Inchygelagh (on the left). Bring packed lunch which we will probably eat in the new hide which has been built. Also wellies might be a good idea ( not to eat ! )
