When: Thursday, 1st September 2011, from 10.00 am to 5.00 pm

Where: Crowne Plaza Hotel, Dundalk, Co Louth

What:  An all-Island Conference on how to make the most of green energy opportunities. The Conference will focus on how energy efficiency initiatives can create job opportunities and boost the economy.

    • How can people obtain the relevant skills and training?
    • Case studies on successful initiatives
    • Funding opportunities
    • What can be learned from the European perspective?
    • What next - the new EU Directive on energy efficiency

Who: Leading politicians, including Irish Minister of Communications, Energy and Natural Resources, Pat Rabbitte TD,  a senior representative from the Northern Ireland Assemblykey stakeholders including high-level representatives from government and public bodies, top business people, senior officials from the European Commission and the media.
